CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIANS TRAINING INSTITUTE (CTTI)

CTTI was established in Nov 2002 to provide technical training to the unskilled tradesmen of the Construction Industry.
This has a multi-pronged aim by which:        
i) The trainee gains theoretical as well as practical hands-on training.
ii) The value of time, cost as well as quality consciousness is instilled in them.
iii) The effort is also dedicated to a social cause as it aims at channelizing the potential of the youth as well as providing placement for them.

      

TRAINING PROGRAMMES OF C.T.T.I

(a) Training Programmes at CTTI Hyderabad: - The Training Programme are conducted in the following trades. The minimum requirement for each trade is mentioned below.

(b) Mobile training programmes – Training is provided on work site for all the  above programmes (except general works supervisors) & OEM.

(c) Skill upgradation programme – This programme is for those who already have the basic training by virtue of experience and which can be upgraded.  The programme is based on the standard of the tradesman i.e Level III, II (who are to be classified to Level II after 2 years site supervisor) and In respectively.
           
(d) Training additional trades for the following can also be given specific demand from sponsors     
(i) Welders  :   3 months course 7th class with placement guarantee (fees structure can be worked out)
(ii)   Tile Masonry  :                       -do-
(iii)  Glazers          :                       -do-
(iv)  Carpenters for joinery work :     -do-

There are 122 outstation Training Centres where similar training programmes are conducted by CTTI for the above mentioned trades.

OPERATOR EXCAVATING MACHINERY
Course Fee: Rs. 15,000(Including Boarding and Lodging)
Certfication : Rs. 500
Qualification: ITI Diploma (Mechanical) Driving License for Four Wheeler
Duration: 2 Months

 

3 Months Training Programme for South Africans

Sponsors to provide accommodation & food, training accommodation at their cost
Fees to be paid in advance at the time of admission.

Admission procedure:  Entrance exam will be conducted and the candidates who obtain a minimum of 40 marks will be selected.

Other Facilities:  The trainees have several other amenities at their disposal. They have daily Yoga classes apart from their curriculum. They have games such as basket ball and volleyball for their recreation.

Issue of Certificates:  After successful completion of training through theory classes and practical, which accounts for 20% and 80% respectively, examinations are conducted monthly. The final examination is conducted through an external jury comprising of Members from the building industry, factory from enquiring / polytechnics / PWD / Irrigation departments.

Placement opportunities:  Immediately after the examination, the suitable candidates are placed with a minimum salary of Rs.2400/- per month with free accommodation.
