CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIANS TRAINING INSTITUTE (CTTI)

CTTI was established in Nov 2002 to provide technical training to the unskilled tradesmen of the Construction Industry and it is parented by National Academy of Construction.

This has a multi-purpose aim by which:
1. The trainee gains theoretical as well as pratical hands-on training.
2. The value of time, cost as well as quality consciousness is instilled in them.
3. The effort is also dedicated to a social cause as it aims at channelising the potential of the
youth as well as providing placement for them.

Training Programmes of CTTI
(a)
Training Programmes at CTTI Hyderabad- The Training Programme are conducted in the following trades.

The minimum requirement for each trade is mentioned below.

(b) Mobile Training Programmes- Training is provided on work site for all the above programmes (except general works supervisors) & OEM.

(c) Skill up Gradation Programme- This programme is for those who already have the basic skills by virtue of experience and which can be upgraded. The programme is based on the standard of the tradesman i.e. Level III,II (who are to be classified to Level II after 2 years site supervisor) and I respectively.

(d) Training additional trades for the following can also be given on specific demand from sponsors
1. Welders : 3 Months course
2. Tile Maonry : 7th Class
3. Glazers: -do-
4. Carpentry for joinery work: -do-

Two day Masons training programme on "Construction of Individual Sanitary Latrines and Community Toilets".

(e) Six days Training Programme for "Village Mandal Zilla Samakhya members on Basic Building Construction" organized by NAC and DRDA.

There are more than 186 outstation Training Centres where similar training programmes are conducted by CTTI for the above mentioned trades.

OPERATOR EXCAVATING MACHINERY

Course Fee: Rs 15,000 (Including Boarding and Lodging)
Certification: No Charges
Qualification: ITI Diploma (Mechnical) Driving License for Four Wheeler
Duration: 2 Months
To provide accomodation, food & training accommodation at their cost. Fees to be paid in advance at the time of admission by sponsors.

Admission Procedure: Entrance exam will be conducted and the candidtaes who obtain a minimum of 40 marks will be selected.
Other Facilities: The trainees have several other amenities at their disposal. They have daily yoga classes apart from their curriculum. They have games such as basket ball and volleyball for their recreation.
Issue of Certificates: After successful completion of training through theory classes and practical, which accounts for 20% and 80% respectively, examinations, are conducted monthly. The final examination is conducted through an external jury comprising of Members from the building industry, factory from enquiring/polytechnics/PWD/Irrigation departments.
Placement Opportunities: Immediately after the examination, the suitable candidates are placed with a minimum salary (as per the market trend) per month with free accommodation.

The following courses introduced on "Payment Basics" in our advanced welding centre, CTTI, NAC. Advanced courses for welders with basic SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) Skill.

Cabinet Making: Duration: 3 Months Course
Eligibility:7th Class (Pass or Fail)
With the rapid development of construction field in Hyderabad, there are so many insitutions, offices and residential buildings coming up. All these buildings require various types of storage, such as cabinets as their interiors. This course trains trainees in constructing various types of cabinets with a variety of materials. The trainees will be trained in making cabinets using Plywood, Pre-laminated wood, Medium density fiber boards etc., they will also be trained in laminating with a variety of lamination materials. They will also be trained in lipping; fixing various types of hardware fixtures etc., all through the training period the trainees will be working on actual projects.

Curtain Stitching and Dress Making: Duration: 3 Months Course
Eligibility:7th Class (Pass or Fail)

IAD, NAC in tis relentless pursuit to offer self employment opportunities to those below poverty line and uneducated women has designed curtain stitching and dress making course. With the rapid changes in life sytel, lot of demand for variouis designs of curtains has come up. There is no formal training available in this areas. The trainees are trained in various accessories for curtains and dress making. The training is conducted by experienced curtain and dress makers and all the training is done hands on.
