Housing
Development Institute has been established with
the aim to cater to the needs of the Housing
Sector, especially in the Low Cost Housing and
“To be a Center of excellence for adaptive
research in areas of Cost and Time effective
methods of construction in Housing Sector”.
The Areas of Operation include but not limited
to “Mass production technology for Low Cost
Housing, Low
Cost Building Materials obtained from industrial wastes
and locally available materials and Innovative
Financing Schemes.
These
are achieved through different Seminars,
Workshops and Compilation of Data and technology
available through high level meetings in the
Government. Some of the Regular Training Programmes
