Eligibility : Intermediate with MPC/MEC (Pass or Fail) or Any graduate

With the rapid growth of the construction industry there is a great need of trained people who can understand, interpret  and make detailed drawings of architectural designs both manually and using computer. In this program the candidates will be trained about different types of drawings like plans, elevations, sections of variety of buildings and also site plans and location plans. They will also be trained in calculating various areas and volumes so as to be able to understand to make estimations of buildings, calculate their built up areas and volumes so as to able to understand to make estimations of buildings, calculate their built up areas and prepare documents to prepare detailed bill of quantities.
The trainee will be introduced to computer aided drafting using AutoCad the most popular software application. At the end of the four months training program, the trainee will be able to do the following.
1. Make accurate drawings according to scale as given by the consultant.
2. Calculates areas, and make Municipal drawings.
3. Manually Draft architectural drawings of building plan, elevations and section.
4. Draft all the above in AutoCad 2006.
After this course, the trainee will be able to help Consultants by drawing plan elevations and sections of various buildings and will also be able to do detailing for various areas like kitchen, shops, cabinets for various uses etc.,

Eligibility : 7th Class (Pass or Fail)

With the rapid development in Hyderabad, there are so many institutions, offices and residential buildings coming up at rapid pace. All these building require various types of storage, such as cabinets in their interiors. This course trains trainees in constructing various types of cabinets with a variety of materials. The trainees will be trained in making cabinets using Ply-wood, Pre-laminated wood, Medium density fiber boards etc., they will also be trained in laminating with a variety of lamination materials. They will also be trained in lipping, fixing various types of hardware fixtures etc., all through the training period the trainees will be working on actually projects.

With the rapid changes in life style, lot of demand for various designs of curtains have come up. There is no formal training available in this area. IAD,NAC has designed this course basically with a view to increase the employability of women in this fast growing aspect of construction industry. The trainees are trained in various types of Curtains, Valances and various accessories for curtains. The training is conducted by experienced curtain makers and all the training is done hands on.
