University(J.N.T.U),Hyderabad in Three Disciplines.

Post
Graduate Diploma in Facilities
Management
Facilities
Management (FM) encompasses multiple disciplines
to ensure functionality of the built environment
by assimilating people, place, process and
technology. The facilities manager has the
responsibility of coordinating the workplace
with the people and the work of an organisation.
This task requires putting together the
principles of behavioral and engineering
science, business administration, architecture
and many more. The demand for facilities
managers is on the increase since most
organisations are realizing the importance and
need for maintaining, securing and efficiently
operating their facilities, which are very large
investments for most organizations.
The
course commenced on 20 August 2007. The total
duration of the PGDFM course is one-year (24
weeks of study and 26 weeks of Industry Exposure
training and understudy in Facility Management).
The subjects will be thaught by Sr.Professors,
Industralists,Engineers from reputed organisations.

Post
Graduate Diploma in Building
Technology
Building
Technology Course is a job oriented short term
programme. It equips graduates to become site
engineers, quantity surveyors and IT savvy
professional techno managers. It provides
adequate exposure to practicals and an opportunity
to conduct all quality control tests for
materials and concrete by themselves. It
combines
theory with practice. It provides interaction
with senior engineers and managers from the
construction industry. It imparts the knowledge
of technical supervision for quality of works,
contract management, financial management and
stores management. It increases the level of
confidence and knowledge.
The course commenced on 10-Sep-2007. The total
duration of the PGDBT course is one year (Six
months of study and Six months of apprenticeship
in work sites). The trainees can be easily
employed by reputed construction companies at
the end of the course in campus interviews.

Construction
Project Management is an industry oriented one
year course (Six Months Class room and Six Month
on Job Internship) being conducted by NAC,
Hyderabad. This course equips graduate Civil
Engineers to become experts in the field of
Construction Project Management. The course
content includes Construction Technology,
Quantity Survey, Infrastructure Financing,
Construction Safety and Project Management
Software. The subjects will be taught by leading
professors and leaders from industry after
completion of the course the students will
become experts in planning, scheduling and
monitoring construction projects. The course
